  Update Owner came out...new prob we had tp install farm sink but Friday is installation the 22nd! After its installed may be a 5 star. I cant wait. Just to be clear 2 to 3 months from measuring to install in case time is important but again the best slabs ive seen in Michigan just know it takes time and if u have farm house sink install it because how much hangs out of cabinet is your preference. Last review was a three bumped to 4 coming soon install and probably 5...then just need backsplash. My friend made me go to Capital granite. Our appointment was with Brandon who had a funeral. Jason the sales manager took us...we thought we were going for quartz but fell in love with Granite. My friend and I were told by Jason 3 weeks for measuring and three weeks for installation a total of 6 weeks. We both confirmed yes I could wait 6 weeks...a week or two passed our completion but we could hang on. Yesterday I called and talked to a woman who laughed at me when I asked for my date. She said" I don't know who told you that " but she would have someone call me back. Never happened yesterday so today I called and was told by Jeremy(not Jason the girl I spoke to yesterday was wrong and rude) that they have been running 3 months out for two years. 3 weeks measuring and 6 to 8 weeks for installation or a total of 9-12 weeks from the point you pay half! My friend and I were both sure Jason said 3 for measuring and 3 for installation. Note...get everything in writing at Capital Granite and know at least three months to installation. Today I am between a rock and a hard place. Jason now promises the week of July 18th, which he is putting in an email later today. Good news I love what I found and they have great slabs outside, bad news is these places and contractors in general don't show up when they say nor do what they say. 3 more weeks without countertops and then I can decide on backsplash.

  Jeremy, Don and everyone else at Capitol Granite have been fantastic to work with. Not only was the quality of the work Exceptional, but their customer service surpassed that! They made sure I was able to finish the job for my client before Christmas by working Christmas Eve to do it. And this was the first job I ever used them for so it wasn't like they went out of their way because of being an Old Customer, it was obvious to me it didn't matter who you are they plan to exceed your expectations. Well it worked because they certainly exceeded mine!
